John Onwin Okwegwa as an expert in physical and Intelligence Security, an astute administrator with a strong analytical mind of the Downstream Operations. He is a graduate of Public Administration who retired voluntarily with honours from the services of the Nigerian Navy after over three decades of meritorious service.

He worked last in the Navy as the Base Administration Officer (BAO) at the Naval Base QUORRA, Apapa. While at Naval Headquarters Annex, at the Directorate of Marine Services in Lagos, he gained close to a decade of experience as a Base Oil Officer, “Illegal Bunkering Monitoring Unit and Special Task Force Group” (Upstream and Downstream sectors). He was trained locally in Nigeria and abroad, India and the United Kingdom in Under Water Warfare, Intelligence and Security operations, Leadership and Management Courses.

Prior to joining EMADEB Energy Services Ltd in 2014, He worked in Ocean Marine Services (OMS), Sea Petroleum & Gas (SPG), HEYDEN Petroleum Ltd, (HPL). He is presently the General Manager Terminal Operations of Emadeb Energy Services Limited.

He is a trained PFSO (ISPS CODE), An Associate member, Certified Institute of Shipping, Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals, and Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH). He has also attended several training and workshops on Oil and Gas related operations, logistics, drilling, lifting, distribution and regulations.
